Role Access
Follow the steps below to configure role-based access in the AiX platform.
Overview
The Role Access module allows administrators to:

Assign roles to users
-
Control access permissions
-
Define which modules users can view and use
Each user must at least be assigned a role with accessible modules (functions).
Create Role Access
Step 1: Open Role Access
From the left navigation menu:

Click User Management
-
Select Role Access
Step 2: Add Role Access
Click the + Add button to create a new role access configuration.

Step 3: Select User
Choose an existing user from the system.
Step 4: Assign Roles
Select a role for the user:
-
Viewer
-
Editor
-
User
-
Super Admin
Note:
Roles are configurable and can be customized.
For more details on role configuration, refer to the section below.
Step 5: Select Modules
Choose the modules the user can access for the selected role:
-
Asset
-
Assistant*
-
Chat
-
Console
-
Database
-
Instant Messaging
-
Knowledge Base
-
Setting
Only selected modules will appear in the user’s menu.
*Assistant includes access to the Smartflow module.
Step 6: Save Role Access
Click Save button to apply the configuration.
After saving:
-
The role access will be created
-
A new entry (row) will appear in the Role Access table
Role Configuration
Choose an existing user from the system.

Viewer – Read-only access
-
Editor – Create, read, and update permissions
-
User – Full operational access (except admin functions)
-
Super Admin – Full system access
Administrators can:
-
Modify existing roles
-
Create new roles if needed
To manage roles:
Go to Console → System Configuration → Role
Role Permissions
Each role defines permissions across the following actions:

Create
-
Read
-
Update
-
Delete
-
Administer
Permissions vary by role and apply across all assigned modules.
